This vintage document reads: Received by J. Parsons, and the signature by the signing agent is illegible. Town: Rochester, Monroe County, NY New York. Found in Livingston County NY.

This is a very early 1849 Mutual Life Insurance Company advertising renewal receipt on early blue thin rag paper. It has a beautiful early decorative border, and calligraphy script.
